Chocolate Covered Almond Slivers

Chocolate covered almonds with a twist!

Total Time: 35 min

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup slivered almonds

  • 1 cup high quality chocolate; melted (I like Hu)

  • Sea Salt; coarse


Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in 15 second intervals, mixing in between until fully melted.

  2. In a small mixing bowl, place almond slivers and then pour chocolate over and coat thoroughly.

  3. Evenly spread chelate and almond mixture over a parchment lined baking sheet and top with desired amount of coarse sea salt. Place in freezer for 25 minutes.

  4. Once chocolate has hardened, break into small-bite size pieces.
